And just like that March has come and gone.  Every day seems to go by in a flash.  It just makes me more and more determined to keep going with my business.  I continually ask for friends to share my business with others.  It's definitely a profession that is a lot of word of mouth to get started.  Friends of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend and of course they have to like your work.

To be honest sometimes I do feel like I'm in a constant battle with my own thoughts of can I actually do this?  Is this just an unachievable dream that I've got into my head?  Is my work good enough?  Am I even good enough?

I try to remind myself that YES I can do this.  Whether it's tomorrow or in the next 2 years I will get Studio Apartment Three off the ground and lead it to success.  Everyday I will do something to bring it that much closer.  No matter what is thrown in my direction, positive or negative.  Every challenge or doubt that I have is something to learn from.  I just need to remember that.

The pictures posted are just a few of my favourites I've taken spanning from 2005 to the present.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Studio Time

Things seem to be going well for my team and myself.  We've finished 2 shoots this week and so far so good.  It doesn't even feel like work and it's amazing.  We have another engagement shoot coming up and some more headshots.  It doesn't feel like work when you love what you do.

If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life

Last night I got a taste of what I've been striving for for so long now.  Honestly it felt so good being behind the camera in a studio.  I know in the long run these small gains will lead to the ultimate success.  It will happen.

Photography | Cold Front

I took these while I was in Winnipeg for work in 2014.  I didn't really post them anywhere other than on my instagram account.  So since I'm reformatting (I guess) what I'm posting on here, I may as well back track a little bit to show you guys what type of photography I specialize in.  Which I can tell you right now that it's natural light portrait photography.  I'd consider it my strength.  My weakness or we can call it my opportunity is flash/strobe photography.  Thank goodness one of my business partners or both of them are better at it than I am.

We're a pretty good trio of photographers I'd have to say.  3 different styles.  We each have our own strengths.  As cheesy as it's going to sound.  We balance each other out and it works in favour of our business.

For the next couple of posts I will most likely be taking a trip through memory lane.
